The Department of Fitness & Recreation exists to provide members of the Belmont community with facilities, programs and services that educate, promote and support a healthy active lifestyle.


Now patrons can utilize the FitRec Connect to register for Intramural Sports, Fitness Programs, and Outdoor Recreation events and even reserve racquetball courts all in one place.

To access the new portal, follow the directions below:

  1. Click Sign-in in the top right corner.
  2. Choose "CAS". This will redirect you to the MyBelmont homepage.
  3. Log-in to MyBelmont. Once you have done this, it will display your Membership Profile with Fitness and Recreation.
  4. Click "Courses" to register for events or programs. Programs in which registration has opened should be displayed. If you wish to register for an Intramural Sport event, choose Intramurals.

Horseback Riding is set for November 1st

On Saturday, November 1st, the Department of Fitness and Recreation's Outdoor Recreation program will be offering a horseback riding trip to Belmont students. For $20, students will be provided transportation to Juro Stables in Mount Juliet and enjoy a 1.5 hour journey through some of the most scenic areas in eastern Davidson County! Vans will leave campus at 2:00 PM and return to campus no later than 5:30 PM. Throw on your boots and jeans and come experience a Middle Tennessee fall from the back of a four legged companion! To register, please come by the Beaman Information Desk to reserve your spot. Spots are limited!

Group Fitness Class Schedule

Refund Policy

Participants enrolled in a program or class may transfer or withdraw until 7 days prior to the program start date. Transfers or refunds within 7 days, but before, the program's start date will only be issued if a waiting list is active for the program and must be authorized by the Program Coordinator. Once the program has begun only a pro-rated credit will be issued. Programs, camps or classes may be cancelled if minimum registration numbers are not obtained prior to the start date. In this case a full refund will be issued. If a class is cancelled by Belmont University, or due to weather it will be rescheduled at the next available time.
